Moving to Maple Grove? Maple Grove has two choices for School Districts. First is the Wayzata School District and the second is the Osseo School District. The school district your child will get enrolled in is dependent on where you purchase your home. The Wayzata school district is the southern side (in general) of Maple Grove and the Osseo School District is the northern side (in general) of Maple Grove. Both District Websites have a page that will allow you to type in an address and find out which school your child would attend. The Osseo School District School Finder link is here. The Wayzata School District 'typically' does not allow open enrollment (other than the 1% that is mandate by statute). The Board decides each year based on the number of students whether or not to allow open enrollment.
The Osseo School District does allow open enrollment. They also allow in-district transfers of schools.
