Should I buy now? This is a question that I get asked often! Especially since the interest rates increase in 2023! My answer is the same regardless of what the rates are doing! You should buy when you are ready! Do you have your finances in order? If yes, buy now. Are you able to find a house that you can make your home? If yes, buy now. But... what if I buy today and my rate is 7% and then next year the rates drop to 5.5%? That would be great news if they did as then you could refinance your rate! You would also already be in a house at a lesser cost than that same house would cost you today!
